When we write a blog, we want readers to read our posts and give us some positive comments. For the newbie who just stated to blog, it’s not possible generate an immediate traffic to your blog. It is indeed discouraging. Here are some tips for you to increase your blog’s traffic:
1. I am not trying to discourage you but the reality is that you need time to gain a steady amount of traffic to your blog.
2. You are encouraged to read other people’s blog. You cannot simply just sat at there and doing nothing but expect people to visit your blog. You are advised to give some positive comments on the posts you read. Remember you need to REALLY read them. They will visit your blog too. Don’t simply put some comments like: “Hi” or “Hello”. It’s like a spam.
3. If you blog are personal blog that blog for the things you like, you can invite your friends, relative, and family to read your blog. Especially when you no longer have time to spend with them. Those also count into your blog traffic.
4. You have to REALLY do it. Imagine if you need to pay to blog, you will certainly do it properly and nicely. So, manage your blog as perfectly as you could. And that’s when traffic will drive into your blog. Put your effort into it.
5. Use the right keywords for your post. If you want to surf the internet, you have to type a specific keywords or else you will not get the information you want. So, the situation is the same for gain traffic to your blog. Use an appropriate title that will catch people’s eye balls. Do you notice that when you search the information you want, the top website displayed on the screen have a very simple and yet very clear title?
6. You need to know what people really want. For example, since nowadays economic is bad, most people are concerned to earn more money to pay their rent or for daily life. You can post about ‘How to earn Money Online” or similar post. If you are fortunate enough, you will get some readers. But, remember, there will be a lot of people who will post on the same issue. So, try to be unique but correctly informed.
7. When people really do visit your blog, you will need to visit them back. This is what we called interaction. The more you interact between them; they will eventually become your regular readers. You will STILL have to continue your interaction between them. Bear that in mind.
8. You can also write article to get traffic to your blog. Some of the website allow you to sign up for free and start to write quality article. The more the people read your articles, the more publicity you will get for your blog. The websites will even pay you for your article. It also helps you to build up your fame. Again, you need a good title and a nice topic to write the article so that people will pay attention to your articles. However, you need to choose the right websites to publish your articles.
